Brief Property Description & History:
This Victorian home was built in the 1800's by a prominent family who lived there for 70 years. At one point the home was used as a rooming house for gentlemen, possibly soldiers, for several years. The current residents, John and Robert, have lived in the home for over twenty years and operate a business there, Special Effects Hair Design.
Current Sightings and Experiences:
Both owners state that they have smelled a strong scent of roses at times in the foyer, however, this has not happened in several years. They've also noticed cold spots in the foyer as well. Several visitors have commented on the cold spots, too. Interestingly, John and Robert purchased the statue of a woman's upper torso that formerly adorned the dining room of the Crescent Hotel. Both noticed an increase in paranormal activity after they brought the statue home.
A few years ago, Robert noticed a woman riding an old fashioned bicycle up their driveway about 2:00 am. He went out to speak with her and noticed that she was dressed in period clothing that he refers to as Alice in Wonderland type clothing. They had a conversation and she stated that she was looking for a Mr. Wallace. Mr. Wallace lived in the home at one time, but had been dead for several years. After speaking with the son of Mr. Wallace, it was determined that Mr. Wallace had a childhood friend matching the woman's description who would ride her bike to visit him on occasion. Neither owner has seen this mysterious woman since.
John was upstairs when he heard a soft male voice calling his name. No one else was in the home at that time. This has happened 4 to 5 times since they moved in. The last occurrence was approximately 1 year ago.
Robert's mother was living in the home with them when she was very ill and dying. Her bedroom is now their dining room. This is their least favorite room in the house for the both of the owners. They don't know why, they just have a bad feeling when they're in the room.

After his mother's death, Robert was rearranging items, among them were his mother's ashes. The doorbell rang and sounded like his mother's old clock, similar to Winchester chimes. The doorbell is NOT equipped to produce that sound, so of course this startled him.
Recently, a local psychic visited the home. She asked the owners if they were aware that several ghosts were living with them, 2 children and several cats. She asked if they would like for her to get rid of the spirits. At that very moment, the light fixture on the ceiling above the psychic fell to the floor and almost hit her. The owners declined her offer to cleanse the home.
More common occurrences: Lightbulbs explode when they are turned off, items come up missing, but are found days later in a very random place, along with doors opening and closing by themselves.

Reported Findings and Experiences:
April 14th Investigation: CASPR investigators Valerie, Debbie and Cathy arrived at approximately 9 pm. As the homeowners and the investigators were discussing the pending investigation, everyone noticed that the dining room lights were flickering. Upon further inspection, it was noted that the lights are controlled by a dimmer switch. It was determined that the switch may be the cause of the flickering lights.
Camcorder #1 recorded the stairway, Camcorder #2 recorded the downstairs hallway in the foyer, Camcorder #3 recorded the dining room, which is now being used for storage and was formerly the deceased mother's bedroom.
DVRs (digital voice recorders) were placed in the upstairs den, the attic, and the front room and were left to record for 5 hours.
At approximately 11:00 pm the investigators reviewed the footage
recorded by camcorder #3 in the dining room. The tape revealed
numerous orbs which seemed to be most active around the 1930's German
short wave radio and antique mirror that was positioned above it.
It appears that the orbs were exiting the radio and mirror. There
was nothing in the room such as a heating/cooling element or open window
which could have "stirred up dust" or anything else in
the area. There are 2 windows by the radio and mirror, but they
were both closed tightly.
Photos were taken throughout the house and several orbs in motion were
captured. They seemed to be following the homeowners. See
photos below.

Also, captured with a digital camera is what appears to be a face in the window, but may be a flash reflection. 2 different investigators took the pictures below 1-2 minutes after each other. The first series of pictures shows an orb and the second series shows what may be a face in the window.

At approximately 3:30 am, an investigator was taking pictures in the dining
room when the door tried to close on her. She was
standing in the doorway, the door was open, she did not touch the door,
but it closed enough to knock her arm down, not forcefully, but
just enough to startle her.
EVP captures include 3 different names of individuals. After
speaking with the owners, it was discovered that one of the names
matches with the first owners of the land.
Several EVP captures were speaking in Spanish.
