Arkansas tuberculosis Sanatorium 2007
CASPR Members entered the sanatorium once more on January 13, 2007.
We were surprised by the highly unusual activity that occurred that
night. Below is the investigation log. Click HERE
for photos.
Booneville Sanatorium
January 13, 2007
5th Floor Activity:
9pm: On the north end of the building, one investigator was going outside to
the porch when she observed an apparition of a young woman beside the door.
She took a photo revealing a bright, glowing orb by room 535. She also
reported an overwhelming feeling of sadness.
The team leader wrote: "In the morgue section, I tried to close an open
drawer. I pushed it until it closed and got stuck. We walked out of the room
and the drawer fell out, off of it's track with a loud clang. We both jumped.
I KNOW that drawer was closed and stuck when we walked out! We also ALL as a
group got photos of an orb getting closer to us and brighter, coming from the
south end of the morgue are, moving toward the glass doors, heading north to
us."
11pm: This team of investigators all heard a deafening, LOUD bang. It was
almost like a gun shot, but was inside the room with them, not a sound from
outside the building. Each felt traveling cold spots, and a distinct groan was
heard coming from room 514. Fresh batteries in their cameras were drained
completely.
4th Floor Activity:
9pm: First team of investigators assigned to the area each reported
hearing a loud bang. One investigator reported feeling like something tried to
put it's hand in her pocket. Another saw someone at her shoulder, turned to
look and the presence was gone. All felt as if something or someone was
looming behind them.
10pm: Two investigators felt extremely nauseated to the point of almost
throwing up. The feeling lasted a couple of minutes and then went away. The
brand new batteries that were just inserted into a digital camera went
completely dead after taking only two photos. The two investigators both
witnessed an amber light coming from the end of the hallway, it bounced around
showing movement, and then just disappeared. Headlights were eliminated as a
possibility, because they cannot be seen from this angle.
3rd Floor Activity:
9pm: This team reported feelings of nausea while outside of rooms 323 and
309 as well as inside the prisoner's cage. Two of them set up and started
recording with a video camera in room 301. Ten minutes later they returned and
the camera had been turned off. They saw a dark, shadowy figure in this area.
One investigator had 4 distinct scratches on her face after seeing this
figure. See video and photos here.
10pm: Team reported hearing muffled voices. They weren't sure if perhaps it
was another team below them on a different floor. A flash light that was
turned off, turned back on after the investigators asked for sign. Everyone
witnessed this. An investigator wrote: "I got to about the middle of the
hallway when I heard a voice say "get back". The only place we felt
anything was in the prisoner's cage. We felt sadness."
12am: Inside the area known as the prisoner's cage, 2 investigators saw a
large, black blob pass in front of the window, blocking out the light. Each
agreed that they had seen a distinct, solid form moving through the area. They
experienced temperature fluctuations, cold spots, in the same area.
1am: The investigator wrote: "We closed ourselves inside the prisoner's
cage and asked a few questions with pauses. After Lisa asked, "Did you
ever get any visitors? Except the staff, I mean", we got quiet and I
heard Lisa cough beside me. I turned to look at her and her head was back
against the wall. She kept coughing, and said it felt like someone was choking
her. I reached for her neck, but, of course, there was nothing to pull away
from her. I told her that we were getting out of there, helped her up and we
made our way back to the base. She had about 30 seconds, (it seemed longer)
where she really struggled to catch her breath. She was very shaken, but is
doing okay now. I have been ghost hunting with her many times during the past
few years and nothing like this has ever happened to her."
2nd Floor Activity:
9pm: Several investigators heard music coming from room 282. This floor
had the least activity recorded.
Basement/Morgue Activity: All investigators reported fresh batteries being
drained in all equipment used in this area during the night.
